All participants must be registered in advance by their church vicar or an authorized representative.
Teams must consist of players from their respective churches; however, players from different churches may combine to form a single team.
Team names should include their respective church name.
Teams are encouraged to wear matching jerseys or colors. Additionally, it is recommended that teams bring their own hydration(water, sports drinks) and towels.
Each game will begin with a coin toss to decide which team starts with the ball.
Games consist of two 10-minute halves with a 5-minute halftime (Total: 25 minutes per game).
The game will be scored by ones and twos. Anything behind the three point line will be considered as two points and anything in front of or on the line will be considered as one point.
Before each play, the team with possession of the ball will ‘check it’ with the opposing team.
The clock runs continuously and will only stop for official timeouts.
Each team is allowed three 1-minute timeouts per game.
A neutral referee or volunteer will manage the clock and score. All officiating decisions are final.
Fouls: If a player is fouled in the act of shooting and the basket is made, the point counts and the team retains possession. If the basket is missed, the fouled team receives possession.
